It’s the time of the year again, christmas rhymes, santas, presents, christmas trees.. This time around, we spent the christmas up in Genting Highlands. There, along with about 60+ relatives, we occupied 20+ rooms in Genting’s First World Hotel, to celebrate my uncle’s 40th birthday which falls on christmas day. After missing the Time Square christmas countdown in a mess of foam and party stuff, we had the celebration in the hotel lobby itself, in the midst of human traffic.
On christmas day, we spent the whole day in the outdoor theme park, with three quarters of the time there spent on queues. Nonetheless, we did had fun, despite the occasional downpour later on.
So here I am now, back in KL after a 50 kilometre drive back down. Tomorrow my family and I will be flying back to Kuching after a month and half’s stay and the following week, we’ll be back to school. Gah! How time flies.
Well, I guess it’s improbable not to end this post without wishing — a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
