Blackout galore?!

What on earth is going on with SESCO these days? Last Saturday my family and I were dining at Hui Sing when we noticed a whole part of Hui Sing garden across the road in darkness. Luckily the blackout bug didn’t hit that particular stall where we were. Ah soon of Tabuan Desa then messaged me with something along the lines of ‘your house got electric!?’ So that’s two areas void of electricity in one night. Hui Sing and Tabuan Desa.

If that wasn’t enough, Swinburne experienced two blackouts in two days. Once during our Eng. Math tutorial and once when we were busy preparing our oral presentation.

Blackout during our Eng. Math tutorial. That corridor light you see runs on backup power.

And now?! I’m writing this with the help of laptop batteries, an emergency light, boredom, and a Digi Edge connection. Bloody blackouts. By the way, yes, my dad does pay the bills.

Four blackouts within a week! And it’s been almost two hours already, where is the bloody electricity!?

This sucks. Mosquitoes are all over my face. Now the home alarm is nagging about it’s low backup battery. Not to mention it’s so freaking hot in here!
